Ray-Ban, a luxury glasses brand, has partnered with Meta to integrate AI technology into their eyeglass frames.

These glasses will feature cameras, microphones, and speakers, enabling users to request information about what they see and receive assistance in translating signs or menus. 🤲

Wearers will also have the option to instantly share their experiences with friends and family back home. They can do this by live-streaming videos on social media or sending photos in real-time. 🤯

These glasses, priced at £245 (that’s roughly $465 AUD) and weighing just slightly more than regular Ray-Bans, will be accessible in Britain starting next month. 🇬🇧

Here’s a short but sweet piece of news…

ChatGPT can now browse the internet to provide you with current and authoritative information, complete with direct links to sources. This means that it’s no longer limited to data before September 2021!

Browsing is available to Plus and Enterprise users today, and will expand to all users soon. To enable this feature, choose Browse with Bing in the selector under GPT-4.

This new deal could value OpenAI at up to $90 billion (almost three times its worth from a recent share sale earlier this year!) 💰
