Video conferencing has felt the same since they last added that potato filter. I guess it finally changes with Zoom integrating AI.

Here’s the AI rundown for today… quack:

• Zoom adds AI to calls 📲

Zoom finally evolves (after years…) 🤖

Potato filters aren’t the meta anymore, AI is:

Zoom IQ finally gets an update as they prepare to work with OpenAI. With 3 new core features introduced to make tracking and reviewing meetings easier:

• Chat Compose

• Email Compose

• Meeting Summary

Chat Compose is AI-assist feature that helps you write messages that are contextualised with what you say in your calls.

Email Compose is extremely similar, and as the name suggests, contextualises your calls into emails you wish to send.

Even more self-explanatory, Meeting Summary condenses every single word spoken in a zoom meeting into summarised points as you desire.

Most of these features already exist in other AI services but are now just integrated into Zoom to make things easier. No more tab switching.

Unfortunately this fever dream photo is too good to be true. I don’t think ever we’ll see the Pope in a puffer 😢 .

How was this made? Midjourney: Another one of the popular “prompt” based image generation tools was actually used by someone on “Magical Mushrooms” this week to fool users across the internet. I guess creativity occurs at the mellowest of times? 😆 

Any consequences? There aren’t any legal complications but AI image generation has definitely raised concerns over “mass-level AI misinformation cases” moving into the future.

Similar cases were seen with the AI generated arrest photos of my duck relative Donald Trump earlier this week. Wild… but funny.

ChatGPT is plugged in 📆 

With a growing app store built into our old mate, ChatGPT. Turn the boring tasks into fun little text automations AND save some time. 2x combo!

Here’s a few we’ve been using:

Expedia: Book tickets when you want, where you want for the best prices. All through a few text prompts. Easy like ABC. ✅

KAYAK: Booked your flights? Book a hotel too… and a rental car. Again, for amazing prices. Woof woof, you can book a dog hotel too! 🐶 

Wolfram: Everyone’s used Wolfram to “help” in a maths test before 🫢. Now get ACCURATE calculations in ChatGPT, no more weird hallucinations. And, you can use Wolfram in conjunction with other plugins to make sure ALL numbers are crunched properly too.

Our overall take: We just want more! These plugins just touch the surface of all the integrations we can use moving forward. We can’t wait to see how we can pair multiple plugins together to create life changing automations. 😁
